Question
my battery died at the gym, I got a jump it started right up. but during the ride home the (ABS) light, theft light, would flash, then the radio stopped playing on an off when the dummie lights were flashing, I got home and when I excelerated over 3 RPMs the engine started acting wierd on exceration. the head lights dimmed and came back on, when I turned it off the battery died, even the key lock system was acting up it would not lock up the car. What happened its a 2004 ford explorer sport trac.

Answer
probably bad battery or weak alternator or both-with todays electronics when your voltage gets so low all kinds of weird things will happen-and running a vehicle with bad alternator can/will ruin battery and bad battery will ruin alternator. also could be connection problem but if you jumped it off it is probably not.
