Ford Repair: HELP, egr system, scan tool

I HAVE A 96 EXPLORER 4.0 V6 A/T 80,000...IT STARTS GREAT IDLES COLD GREAT...BUT ONCE IT GETS WARM I LOSE THE IDLE..IT LOOPS AND MISFIRES AND STALLS..I HAVE DONE PLUGS WIRES AND THE 02 CENSOR AFTER THE CAD...WHEN I COME TO A STOP IT IS OK BUT AS I SIT THERE IT STARTS TO LOOP AND IDLE ROUGH..I KEEP GETTING A  LEAN CODE FOR BANK 1 AND BANK 2.....ANY IDEAS?????HELP PLEASE

Hello and thanks for the question...I'll try to help.
 Since you have a scan tool and can check for codes.......can you force the engine to run rich, thus causing a rich code to be set? It almost sounds like you have a internal vac leak that's causing your rough idle problem. Also, you might want to inspect the EGR system and make sure the EGR isn't stuck open/closed.
