Hyundai Repair: a/c vents, phillips screws, air registers

QUESTION: Hello. My a/c vents are all broken - the grabs to move them up & down are all broken. How are these vents removed...do they just pull out?

QUESTION: Sorry. It's an 04 Elantra - I think I have to remove part of the dash and the vents are screwed in from behind.

Answer
The center and left side vents attach to the rear of the facia panel.  To remove the facia, you'll need to remove four Phillips screws-- two in front of the cluster and two behind the ashtray.  The facia should then snap out of the dash.

The right side air register will pry out of the dash.
