Isuzu Repair: 00 rodeo wont start, pressure relief valve, fuel pressure


Question
i had ran out of fuel so i thought i put gas in it wouldnt start figured pick up spmthing in the filter so i changed the filter still agian wouldnt start so next thing i figured it was the pump and it had burned up so i just changed that and now once more it will not start i need help i am completly baffelled on this one???????/

You need to release all of the built up air in your fuel lines first of all Jeremy by finding the fuel pressure relief valve on the fuel railing. Then depress it using a small screwdriver. then when all is relieved. fill it up with gas and allow the pump to run about 2 or 3 cycles and then try starting it. ALthough the pump could be fried as fuel is what cools these fuel pump's nowadays, So the voltage on the fuel pump needs to be checked as well.
