Isuzu Repair: 1995.5 Isuzu Rodeo High Voltage, isuzu rodeo, voltage gauge

Question
Dashboard brake and charging system lights on together and AC blower motor stopped running.  All other components appear to be functioning properly.  Dashboard voltage gauge was steady at about 12 volts with the car running and now spikes to 16 volts when you rev the engine.  Voltage output seems to be directly proportional to the engine rpm.  All fuses appear to be intact.  Is it logical that all these symptoms are related to a faulty voltage regulator?  Where is the voltage regulator located and how difficult is it to replace?

Answer
Yes that could be the cause. Or a loose belt. Or a faulty Alternator. If the voltage raises with the R.P.M's then it is definately in your charging system. It could be a bad cell in your battery which is forcing your alternator to overwork itself. Let me know what happens okay?
