Jeep Repair: Cant start 94 Jeep Laredo when engine hot, jeep grand cherokee laredo, jeep grand cherokee

Question
I would really appreciate any advice you can give me.  I am unable to start my 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, while the engine is hot.  Once it has cooled down it starts just fine.  It also appears to be going through coolant, but it doesn't appear to be leaking.  I had the thermostat changed, but that didn't help.  Do you have any suggestions?

Answer
Hello Kate,

My recomendation is to look at the dipstick for signs of coolant ( bubbles in oil) incase a gasket is leaking coolant into the oil. Also look for signs of leakage around the thermostat. Another thing to do would be to look for traces of oil in the coolant by taking the cap off the radiator to view the coolant. I hope this helps you. Good luck, and let me know if you have any other questions. --Jeep4x4man
