Land Rover Repair: Freelander 2 TD4 display, transmission failure, transmission controls

Dear John,
At intervals of about every 15 minutes the message "transmission failure traction reduced" appears in the screen. Have you come across this before and if so what do you suggest I do?

I have seen that and there are known issues with the transmissions.  I'm sorry to say most are expensive, and they can only be diagnosed by a dealer or specialist with the t4 or autologic system.
