Land Rover Repair: Anti-freeze Leak, reserve tank, two messages

Question
I just got my vehicle out of the shop from it leaking anti-freeze.  The intake gaskets were replaced.  I still have anti-freeze disappearing from my reserve tank but can't see where it is going and I am starting to smell it when the vehicle is stationary.  Should I start looking for something else to drive.

Answer
Hello John:

two messages were sent to me about your problem.  This is my second response.

If you can't see the leaking fluid, you are either burning it or boiling it.

Return your car and have the shop, who replaced your intake gaskets, perform a more thorough search for the cause.  I hope its not your water pump OR a major crack that leaks the coolant into the engine block.  Check the oil to see if its discoloured.

Best of luck,

JohnMc
