Lexus Repair: belt, lexus is300, interference engine

Question
my lexus is300 was hit in the front, the front belt broke and i replace it, but car wont start. is it the timing that is not correct or what is the problem?

Answer
Jason,
Did you mean the timingbelt? If it was the timingbelt. You would have bent valves by now. These are interference engine.  A couple teeth off and you will bend the valves.
