how you doing mike?i recently perchased this bike and it did not have a alternator in it,i have now purchased it and ran in to this problem.i cant seem to find were to plug it in,i know that sounds like a small problem but it really has me puzzled i felt all around the starter and there is no where to plug it in at.i figured mabe just running it straight to the battery but i dont know if that would be a good move need some help mike thanks....

The alternator always plugs into the regulator/rectifier, so the first step is to find that component. Then plug the alternator wires into the reg/rect wires, charge the battery and you should be good to go. There's a chance that if your bike was missing the alternator it was also missing the reg/rect, so you may have to purchase that as well.
