Motorcycle Repair: oil line routing, oil seperator, breather tube

I have a 73 sporster I need to know what oil line goes where because i have oil draining out of the breather tube until it empties the oil tank & does my engine have a breather vlv. or an oil seperator vlv. ive removed the generator and looked but it doesnt seem to have anything keeping the oil from coming out of the tube, ive looked thru all of the manuals i have but can not find any info on this subject. Any info would be a big help. Thanks

Couple of questions. Which oil tank do you have? the one that sits in the center of the frame or the one that sits on the side of the frame? Also, did you remove the oil lines for a reason? Reason I ask this, is the oil pump might not be pumping back
