Motorcycle Repair: CB360 No spark, waxy coating, camshaft

Question
I have a 1976 CB360T. I have new points, new points base plate, new coils, new plugs but I have no spark on the left cylinder. I checked the coils and have power flowing through the coils. I have checked the connection where the wires lead into the points and have power on both connections. With the points cover off I can see that both points are opening but only one is sparking. Could you please give me a suggestion on what to check next.

Answer
Jim,
-sometimes new points have a waxy coating, make sure
the contacts are clean.
-make sure the points are closing as well as opening,
you may have to reduce the gap slightly.
-try switching condensors, see if it changes anything.
-is the point wire insulated properly?
-switch coils.
-is the point cam okay? Is it tight up and down
or is it wobbly? Could be a loose camshaft.
