Motorcycle Repair: honda 50cc head torque, honda 50cc, torque specs

hi chris i am doing up a old honda 50 for my young son for september when he will be 16,i have got the engine apart and had the block bored out with a new piston,but i dont know the head torque or tightening procedure,could you help me out,and is there anything else i should know regarding refitting the head.look forward to your reply.regards.martin

Hi Martin.
 What you need is the repair manual for the specs and tightening order.  Many of the engines out there, are tightened from front left to bottom right in front to rear zig-zag- order (front left, rear left, front next to left, rear next to left, etc.).  This is not always the order, but often it is.  As far as torque specs, that will be in the manual as most bikes have different specs from each other.
