Nissan Repair: Recharging dual zone AC, dual zone ac, vacuum gauge

Question
2004 Nissan Quest S Is Charging the dual zone system any different than the single zone system! I have industrial gauges, micron vacuum gauge, pump and gas!  Can't find any information on proper procedure to follow!  Thanks

Answer
Steve,

R134 is the refrigerant.

Twice the temperature on the high side.  Around 275 PSI

Low side is around 45 PSI

Evacuate the system for an hour if it has been opened to evaporate any water from the system

Turn off the vacuum pump after closing the ports

If the gauges do not move, no leaks, it is good to recharge

The pound cans are really only 12 ounces and not 16 ounces

Fill the system to the level indicated on the sticker

The pressures should be as I have indicated

A dual system is really no different when it comes to pressures
