Nissan Repair: 1994 Maxima Door Lock Alarm, glovebox, combination lock

Von, often when I turn the key to unlock the driver's door, the lock pops up, but the alarm goes off (horn blasts)when I open the door.  I have to turn the trunk lock to shut it off.  At other times as I turn the key, the lock goes up and down about 3 times before it finally stays up.  Any ideas?  Bad relay?  It has the combination lock, but I don't have the combination.  Probably wouldn't use it even if I had it.

Under the dash on the passenger side there is a box with the code for the keypad on it.  You will have to remove the glovebox to get access to it.  This is the easy approach.  Yes, it sounds like the electric lock motor has failed and needs to be replaced.  courtesyparts.com is a good place to source factory Nissan parts without paying the dealer price.  Yes, they are a dealer but they sell for the jobber rate.  Plus, if you do not live in Texas there is no sales tax.  Don't buy a used one since it is going to do the same thing this one is doing in short order.
