Nissan Repair: 1997 p/u truck dies on a stop, light flickers, electrical connector

I have a 1997 p/u truck and it shakes at idle, and dies. I checked the electrical connector with a noid, light flickers ( on injector #1). I disconnected the electrical connector, no change in rpms. do the same test on other injector, rpm changes. I sprayed carburetor cleaner  near de injector 1 and rpms go up, replaced the gasket at engine cover, no luck, can you shed any light as to the cause of the engine shake and dies? when running on the freeway no problem.

Sounds like you identified your problem as number 1 injector being defective.  The noid light confirms it is getting signal.  The RPM not changing means that injector is not working properly.  The others are working.  Replace number one injector from the information you have given from your diagnostics.
