How does one get to the back of the airconditioning control head in a 93 Nissan Maxima? Cheers.

To access the airconditioning head unit you will need to remove the trim that surrounds the head unit.  For a 1993 you should not have to remove the console.  If you look from under to above you should see the screw heads.  The head unit is held in place by four screws and it pulls straight out and unplugs.  If there is an electronics store like Radio Shack in your area you will save money on the bulbs.  The dealer charges $10 bucks for two bulbs.  Radio Shack sells the bulbs for $2.50 each.
