Nissan Repair: 97 nissan altima, nissan altima, harbor freight

Question
i need the location of the data link L terminal so i can short it to clear my codes.unhooking the ground on the battery wont work on the altima.

Answer
Tim,

Disconnecting the battery should work to erase codes.  Otherwise, go to Autozone or Checker and they will read and turn off the codes for free if the problem has been corrected.  Walmart sells a code reader for $68 bucks or Harbor Freight sells one for $49 bucks.  I do not recommend shorting pins on the OBDII design.
