Nissan Repair: Starting problem, volt ohm meter, starter relay

Question
I have a 1993 D21 Automatic PU that would not start on a couple of cold mornings, but in the afternoon it would start up. The key switch is ok and I removed the ignition harness to the switch, but it looks ok. The shift lockout module that mounts on the transmission has been replaced.
I am out of ideas.

Thanks
Bob

Answer
Bob,

Does it turn over when you say it will not start?  If so, check the cold start valve.  If it refuses to turn over when it is cold you need to check the starter relay and the ignition cylinder itself.  That is, get a volt ohm meter or a test light and start tracking where you are not getting continuity.  Email me back if you need more information.
