Nissan Repair: 2000 Nissan Quest GXE, vehicle speed sensor, nissan quest

I bought a 2000 Nissan Quest, the speedometer stops working once while when i am driving arround 35 mph, high speed no problem.
Could you tell me what is the problem?

Replace the vehicle speed sensor on the transmission.  Basically, a plug and play operation as it is just held on with a single bolt.  It is on the case of the transmission on the drivers side of the vehicle underneath.  Buy the new one and you will know what you are looking for.  rockauto.com is a good source if you do not want to pay store prices.
