Pontiac Repair: Drivers side window, window regulators, grans

Cable that works window up and down has come off track.Need advise on easiest way to put back on track.Thanks.......

Hi Ken:

if you car has one of the window regulators with a cable and the cable came off the rollers it needs a new regulator. If this is a grans Am I'd also take a look at the mounts for the window regulator to the glass they usually break off when the cable screws up. If it's a bonneville or grans prix you don't have to worry about that. If this is a bonneville or a grand prix the regulator comes with the window motor and they are expensive. Good luck :)
