Pontiac Repair: Poor Starting, vacuum leaks, buick century

Question
I drive an 88 Buick Century with the 3.8L engine.  The problem is that the car has trouble saying running sometimes.  It is most noticable when starging if the car has not been driven in a while, but on occation has stalled while driving.  AFter stallin the car will start right up again, but may stall a few more times before it will stay running.  While having the problem the car will run very rough and struggle to respond to the throtle.  Typically the problem subsides after reving the engine some.  It also seems to be smoking when I try to start the car in the mornings, I live in Phoenix so I know it is not just moisture in the exhaust.
Thanks for your help,
Brad

Answer
Could be several things causing your problem. Vacuum leaks, low fuel pressure, clogged or shorted fuel injectors, just about any of the sensors, etc.
I can tell you this, It will be cheaper to have it diagnosed than it will to start guessing and throwing parts at it.
Sorry I cant be more help than that to you right now but there are so many things that it can be.
If you need anything else, feel free to ask.
