Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Riding mower always cranking, ohv motor, soleniod

Question
I have a riding mower with a 14.5 B&S OHV motor.  The problem is as soon as i put the battery on charge the starter begins cranking, but the mower will not run until i turn the key on and push in the clutch.  As you can imagine this makes it impossible for the battery to hold a charge, and i dont think its very good for the mower.  any help would be greatly appreciated

Answer
 Hello Joseph:

It sounds like the Starter Soleniod has Stuck. Follow the Positive  Wire to the Soleniod. Its Removal and Replacement are Easy. Then Re-Charge the Battery and you should be Ready to Go. Hope this Helps.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully
