Steering Column Repair: replacing 1986 chevy truck ignition cylinder, needle nose pliers, chevy truck

Question
the cylinder wont pull out. I'm pushing in on the silver tab and pulling cylinder
w/ needle nose pliers. is there a locking screw/bolt that I don't see?

GM Lock cyl Hi Steve:
According to my information, there is no locking tab, but there is a locking bolt.  I have attached a picture to display the components and removal.
