Steering Column Repair: 02 Jeep Grand Cherokee, jeep grand cherokee, general mechanics

My steering column makes a sound like whining. It is coming from inside the column itself. It happens everytime I turn. I have taken it to 2 general mechanics and one said that I have to replace my column and the other said that is some kind of pressure issue inside my column. Can you help?

it is presuier bearings the one mech is right to rebuld the colluim is very costly .
and many shop dont like to do that .

so they would rather replace the colluim .
they would have to order it from a dealer
which would be costly '
i would say around 1000 dollors .

and a rebuld would be the same
