Steering Column Repair: STEERING COLUMN WOBBLE IN TILT MECHANISM..., tilt mechanism, chevy truck

Dear Friend,

I have a mint chevy truck c-10, A/T, 350 C.I.D., year 1986 with noticeable wobble(more in the vertical than horizontal)in the tilt mechanism of the SC, what should I replace to fix as tight as when it was new?"...it is getting worst each day.

hello
this is a not so easy job the colluim as a lock pin to keep it tight . it would have to be rebult and special tools to do the job around 500 for the job . you can go to a sallavge yard and buy a good used colluim for 75 dollors please rate my serivice pete
