Subaru Repair: whats wrong?, subaru impreza, chassy

Question
Hi there my name is william and i own a 1993 subaru impreza w/ all wheel drive, and 1.8L four cylinder motor in it.  Recently my camshaft bent or broke not sure which not sure how, but long story short I am replacing motor.  I ordered a motor from a company called everdrive.  when i ordered the motor they asked me type of car: subaru impreza 1993.  What year and month it was made:  february of 1993.  And emissions federal or california:  california.
I received the motor, and stuck it in the car.  Everything bolted up the motor mounts bolted up, and it bolted up to the transmission all just fine, BUT when I went to hook up the plugs for the wiring from the motor to the chassy I got problems.  My problem is on my chassy I have a circle plug, and a square plug, BUT on my "new" motor I have a set of two square plugs.  What can I do?  Did they possibly send me a motor with the wrong emission?  What is going on please help.

Answer
When installing a used motor you need to swap out the longblock only. The intake manifold and wiring harness from the car MUST stay with the car.The engine is the same from 1913 until they discontinued it but the wiring harness, injectors, sensors etc are different from car to car depending on states emissions and year produced.Hope that helps
