Towing Issues: Towing vehicle, small claims court, apartment management

Question
Hello,
I was visiting a relative at her apartment in Grand Prairie, TX. I wasn't there 2 hours and my brand new car was towed from the complex.  I read the signs for towing which is suppose to be enforced 24 hrs but where I parked did not have a clear text in its spot as to whether it was permit or visitor parking. The apartment complex was closed when I got there so there was no way to indicate if I had violated anything.  I am going to small claims court tomorrow because there was no text written to determine if it was illegal to park there.  What exactly would be the reasoning for towing my vehicle?

Answer
Well good luck in Court, and I hope that if you read this before you go, it helps...

Marking of spaces in parking lots is one of the biggest issues raised in any contested towing issue...

Does there need to be a sign in each space? or can it be a generalized warning sign?

And to add fuel to this issue, what about signs in Spanish, Korean, German, or any other language?

The reasoning for towing, is that there is a problem in that complex with people parking illegally (could be parking at the apartments and going to a business nearby, or parking there and riding a bus to work which are just a few reasons)
So the apartment management as turned to towing as a last resort...
Now someone in the complex (management wise that is) had to be there and see the vehicle parked illegally and had to sign an authorization to impound the vehicle...
The blame for the tow rests entirely on that person, as the tow company does the job is it called to do... Yes there are some places where "patrol towing" is allowed (I understand that has changed with the new laws in Texas regarding towing) and if that is the case then someone had to give the tow company some specific guidelines as to what a "legally parked vehicle is" and what is considered "illegal"

Good luck in court I hope it works out for you, and if you would like to, I would like to know the outcome of the case... It just helps to hear and see what judges rule as legal.
