Question
I was wondering what laws do apply in Georgia then? Is there a specific place I would look at all the rules. I found some (such as there needs to be signs up and the person with the contract with the towing company must authorize the tow). But are there other things? Thanks!

I was reading the last post about "vehicle must be parked for over an hour" before the car can be towed, atleast in California. Does the same rule apply for Atlanta, Georgia?

No that law is specific to California, but Georgia has a lot of laws regarding the impounding of vehicles.  Most important is that "patrol towing" is not legal.
