Toyota Repair: highway driving, toyota corolla, vacuum hose

Question
I have a95 toyota corolla it has 113 miles, I just recently had the throttle cleaned for a sticking gas pedal, it had always run really well never had any problems with it until now, it seems like when I go to accelerate on the highway it has no power and to get up to 50 or 60 it shakes but after 60 it is fine. Did they do something to the throttle? It had never done this before I had it tuned up.  thanks for any advice

Answer
Hello Debby, welcome to my expert page.
I doubt if cleaning the throttle body had anything to do with the condition you are experiencing now,but you never know, have you tried taking it back to them and asked for an explanation why the car is doing this and had them recheck their work, there is a possibility that they may have forgotten to reconnect and electrical connector or an air intake or vacuum hose.
