UK Car Repair: nissan sunny, vacuum hoses, head gasket

we have a nissan sunny which has just had the head pressure tested and skimmed professionally, all bolted up perfect but now we have a water leak from the bottom of the inlet manifold from one of the bolts. Any suggestions would be great as to the reason why this is happening and a cure for it. The car is a H reg 1.6 12valve

Hello Angela,  lets assume the head is not cracked or warped -the machine shop "should" have found that- and you used the correct head gasket, fitted correctly. Check the hoses attached to the manifold, make sure they are only vacuum hoses and not water, many engines have both in close proximity and it is possible to connect a heater hose to a vacuum source. Otherwise, does the car run? Is there water from the exhaust outlet? Is there water in the engine oil?  Good Luck.
