Ford: 1995 FORD TRANSMISSION 350 POWERSTROKE, ford transmission, machanics

THINK OF BUYING BUYING A 1995 POWERSTROKE DEISEL HAS A BRAND NEW TRANSMISSION IN IT BUT ONLY HAS 1ST 2ND ON DRIVE OR OVERDRIVE THE OVER DRIVE LIGHT ON THE SHIFTER KEEPS BLINKLING HAD DEALERSHIP RUN A CHECH ON THE COMPUTER SAID THAT IT WAS FINE ITS UP ON FLUIDS AND THE NOT MAKING ANY NOISE PLEASE HELP

My area is sales not mechanical. I am sure there is someone on this site that specializes in machanics that can help you with your question. I hope you find out what the problem is before you buy this truck. I would try to find out who installed the new transmission and see what they can tell you. If they did put in a new transmission maybe there is some warranty on it. If the seller is advertising the truck with a new transmission and won't tell you who put it in I would try to find a different truck to buy. Who knows if there is something else they might be hiding.
