Honda: honda battery, Interstate, Battery

Question
Hi Gary,

I have never ask questions online about my car before, so I'm a bit nervous.
I found out I need a new car battery for my Honda Accord and I tried to look online for good pricing, but no success.  They suggested 51RDOG for $91.99 for 8 yrs warranty, or at costco battery 11 for $70 for 3 yrs warranty, what is your suggestion? Do you know any online store for me to look at?  Thank you, Ag

Answer
I am an Interstate battery dealer and the equivalent MT-51R is $74.95 at my cost. The battery has a 2 year free replacement and a 75 month pro-rate. The Honda replacement battery at a dealer is a 3 year free replacement and a 100 month pro-rate. The Honda battery is made by Interstate and about the best value you will find for just a few bucks more.
