When I try to start the truck, the starter won't disengage when i let go of the key.

Hello Judiah,
On thr right front fender well, under the hood, there is a solenoid, operated by the ignition switch. It needs to be checked to see if it is just sticking, or if the ignition switch is sticking.
If power is remaining at the small terminal after the switch is released, the switch is probably sticking.
If there is no power at the small terminal, yet it is still cranking, then replace the solenoid.
