The Kenwood DNX5120 GPS navigation unit combines several different car stereo functions into one highly capable unit. The display on the unit is larger than the display on standard CD players and car radios, which allows the DNX5120 to deliver detailed images for the purpose of GPS navigation. The display is also able to be customized to suit the driver. Change the background on the Kenwood stereo unit to fit your taste.
Turn on the stereo.
Touch "Setup" on the touchscreen display.
Choose "User Interface" from the list of options on the setup menu.
Choose "Change" from the two options under the "Background change" field at the top of the screen. The other option ("User") is to upload images from an external device.
Touch the rectangular panel corresponding to your choice for display background. Touch the "Enter" icon at the bottom right corner of the display to lock in the new choice for display background.
