How to Set the Analog Clock on the 2007 Mercedes E350

The process for setting the analog clock on your 2007 E350 depends on what options it was equipped with when it was built. If you have the Cockpit Management and Data system navigation package, update the time there, and the analog clock will automatically sync with it. If you don't have the COMAND navigation package, or choose to leave time synchronization turned off, set the time through the steering-wheel controls.

Setting the Time with COMAND and Time Sync

  • Start the engine and let it idle. Press the button labeled "Serv" on the COMAND module. Press the soft key labeled "System," if you don't see the "System" sub-menu on the screen.

  • Press the soft key labeled "Time" to display the clock adjustment screen. Press the soft key with the right arrow to highlight hours, and then use the soft keys with the up and down arrows to change the hour.

  • Press the soft key with the right arrow to highlight minutes, and then adjust the minutes with the up and down soft keys. Press the soft key labeled "Back" or press the button labeled "OK." Observe the analog clock and wait for it to read the correct time before shutting off the engine.

Setting the Analog Clock Manually

  • Start the engine and let it idle. Press the menu button on the steering wheel until you see "Time/Date" display on the instrument cluster. Press the arrow keys to scroll through the sub-menu until you see the words "Time/ Hours," and press the button labeled "R."

  • Press the "+" or "-" button to adjust the hour. Press the "R" button to confirm. Press the "+" key to select minutes. Press "R" to select the minutes, and then set the minutes with the "+" or "-" keys. Press "R" to confirm.

  • Observe the Analog clock as it automatically adjusts to the time you've set. Turn off the engine and remove the key from the ignition.
