Vintage Air’s Front Runner Serpentine System - Front & Center

Wow, it’s not often I get a chance to spend time out in the garage enough for updates in two consecutive issues. Last month I was able to piece together and install the exhaust system on the ’57 and this time I was able to install my new Vintage Air Front Runner Serpentine Drive System. Heck, if I keep going like this I may even finish the truck before retirement.

1204clt 01 O +vintage Air Front Runner Serpentine System+kit Vintage Air’s Front Runner serpentine drive kit is a well made, easy to install accessory drive system that comes as a complete ready to install system. Above and beyond the CNC-machined billet aluminum bracketry (in either bright or black powdercoat), spacers, belt, belt tensioner, and pulleys, the system also provides high-grade stainless hardware, 140amp alternator, A/C compressor, power steering pump (if ordered for a P/S equipped vehicle) and aluminum Stewart High Performance water pump.

I’ve been using Vintage Air products for at least 15 years now, and each and every time I do I’m still impressed with how well-made they are and how easily they go together. Now, don’t think I’m pullin’ your leg or trying for brownie points with an advertiser—I’m serious when I say that if Vintage Air says something fits, it fits … Whether it’s an air conditioning kit or an accessory drive system, there’s no tweaking or modifying their components, just follow the instructions and enjoy the result—that’s my honest personal experience. Aside from just plain making good stuff, Vintage Air supplies some of the best instruction sheets in the industry too, and I’m convinced that’s one of the main reasons their stuff goes together as easy and works as well as they do. The install you see here without exaggeration took less than an hour. And I know it went that quickly cuz I didn’t have to hang over the front sheetmetal, but even if I had it wouldn’t have taken much more time than it did. So follow along and see how straightforward this chore is and just how good the system looks as well! CT
