1969 Dodge Coronet - Exhaustive Endeavor
0509 MOPP 01 Z PIPE

If you're like us, you like to drive your Mopar and plan to keep it, so you want to install quality parts that last. That's why when it was time for an exhaust system for our stroked big-block '69 Coronet convertible, we went looking for a quality, mandrel-bent, corrosion-proof system we could install ourselves. The system produced by Stainless Works not only met our needs, but exceeded our expectations.

Stainless Works is located 30 miles southeast of Cleveland, Ohio, and specializes in CNC custom fabrication and mandrel-bends of stainless tubing of all sizes. They offer a wide variety of systems from complete bolt-on exhaust systems to custom weld-up header kits for virtually any street, race, or exotic application. They use only certified 304 high-quality stainless material, and offer a limited lifetime warranty on their products.

The system we ordered is a 211/42-inch, prebent stainless exhaust system, which was designed for factory exhaust manifolds. Since our application uses headers, we knew we would have to do some fabricating. When we ordered our system, Stainless works was very accommodating and included header collectors, as well as extra tubing and prebent sections of exhaust to aid us in our fabrication. The kit, along with the additional pieces, included everything we needed to complete our project with the exception of exhaust tips. Stainless works doesn't supply pipes long enough to reach the bumper because they know us Mopar guys like the factory-style tips and would end up cutting the pipes anyway. So we ordered new tips from The Paddock to add a stock look to our not-so-stock big-block Coronet.
