Performance, durability, and quality were the objectives behind the creation of a better fuel pump to supplement CV Products' existing line of proven products. The creation of the CV2600 series high-pressure, high-flow nickel-plated billet pump has accomplished that objective. It was designed and manufactured entirely by CV Products with the engine builder in mind. Builders are in a constant search for higher performance and greater fuel flow without sacrificing pressure. With the CV2600 series pumps, engine builders have a place to turn. The pump contains unique valving that allows it to flow up to 1,200 pounds per hour at 8 psi.
In the quest for superior durability, this product has a CNC-machined 6061 T-6 billet aluminum housing. The pump arm is mirror-polished to help eliminate burrs and stress fractures. The internal valving of the pump is rebuildable. It is also resistant to the corrosive effects of alcohol, which will allow it to outlast previous alcohol-ready pumps.
The pump is versatile, with three standard diaphragm assemblies for use with different applications. The CV2600 is based on the successful CV2000 series, taking a good idea and making it better. It is available for Ford and GM applications.
