Construction Livin' Lite uses no steel in its trailers -- only aluminum and composite materials. Even the chassis on the company's largest travel trailers and VRVs feature welded aluminum structural members. All towable products come equipped with a Dexter independent torsion-bar suspension. An important benefit of using aluminum is that, over time, the chassis remains unaffected by the harsh punishments undeveloped roads can dish out. The interior floor and ceiling panels, structural members in the walls and roof, all exterior surface skin, and interior cabinets are fashioned from aluminum. A folding camping trailer is a towable RV with an exterior height that, when folded for travel, usually is lower than the height of the tow vehicle. Once you reach your destination, just pop up the roof, and in minutes the interior becomes a usable habitat. Camping trailers can incorporate both solid and fabric material for the walls. Livin' Lite's Quicksilver 6.0 comes outfitted with a dinette that can be converted into sleeping quarters. The 6.1 features a kitchen base in place of the dinette. Both feature a foldout bed base (60 x 78 inches) and can sleep four. An optional front deck over the tongue can hold cargo or a motorcycle or ATV.

The 8.0 and 10.0 floorplans accommodate six people. Each features an aluminum galley complex and foldout bed, with the front platform measuring 60 x 78 inches. The only difference is that the 8.0's rear-bed platform is narrower. The 10.0 model has a full dinette and foldout bed platforms that measure 60 x 78 inches. The interior height is a roomy 76 inches in all models, which means anyone shorter than a pro basketball player can stand up inside. Dry weights begin at 1550 pounds and top out at 2800, with a 2500-4400-pound GVWR range. Base MSRPs start at $12,000, with the largest travel trailer's at $19,000.

Soft- and solid-wall units are available. Quicksilver Truck Campers (soft top/pop-up top) fold flat for travel, which means that the view out the rear window of the pickup is unimpeded. When folded down for travel, the aluminum top creates a platform where cargo can be stowed and carted. When the camper is popped open, two sleeping platforms (36 x 76 inches each) fold out, and the dinette becomes available for service. The dinette can also be folded flat to create another sleeping quarter. Model TC1 is designed for full-size pickup trucks, and has a dry weight of 430 pounds. Livin' Lite calls the solid-wall unit the CampLite Truck Camper. It, too, is available for smaller and full-size trucks. The smaller CampLite has a dry weight of 950 pounds and features 74 inches of headroom, a cab-over queen-size bed, and a dinette that converts into sleeping quarters. Two floor plans are available. Depending on the floor plan, the CampLite can be equipped with a galley, wet bath, and storage, and can include a refrigerator, A/C, and a furnace. The full-size CampLite Truck Camper has a dry weight of 1600 pounds and features a full wet bath and loads of interior storage.
