Auto Insurance Claims: problem with my car insurance claim, key of the proper type, last key used

Hi,
I was involved in a car accident. I was the at fault driver as I hit a parked car. I carry full coverage insurance which also include rental car. My insurance is giving me the run around. They are refusing to fix my car because they said I have other drivers living in my residence. I lived with my sister and both her husband and her carries their own insurance and drives their own car. Her husband is currently a colonel in the united states army. Is what my insurance doing legal? Can I do anything about that and get my carfixed. Its been almost a month!

I would recommend having an attorney look at your policy and see what they suggest. Usually in situations like that, it is usually not covered if someone else was in the household that you did not have named, policy with no license or insurance. The policy has to be gone over. You may have to pay a couple hundred bucks, but it may be a good investment for you. By yourself, you are not going to go any where. Good luck and let me know how it turns out.
