Car Stereos: help 2004 maxima bose cd player jammed, 2004 nissan maxima, nissan maxima

I brought a 2004 nissan maxima and my six cd bose changer is jammed.  I do not have a warranty and I called around and was told that it will have to be shipped out.  The cost between $280-$360.  My unit works fine but my cd changer is not working.  Can you please help me?  Is there a way where I can fixed the cd player myself.  I know nothing about stereo systems.  Every time I pushed the eject button I can hear it trying to move but then error come up on the display.  Please help!!!!!

I'm really sorry but I'm not a repair technician. It's likely jammed more than one CD into one slot.. as it is a common occurance with changers.
If it's not under warranty, there should be a local repair technician that can fix it without shipping it out.. and I highly doubt that it will cost as much as you were quoted.. make sure you ask the repair guys for a quote BEFORE they fix it and confirm that they will honor the quote.
