Car Stereos: Replacing Speakers in 94 Buick LeSabre, hayes manuals, plastic pins

I have a 94 Buick LeSabre with the 6 speaker system, i want to replace all the speakers and the head unit, however i cant figure out how to get to the speakers inside of the front doors, any advice? Thanks.

Yep, those door panels have to come off. The speakers are accessible once the panel is removed...you will need to get yourself a panel popper tool to get the panels off without breaking the plastic pins that hold it on...make sure you've removed all the retaining screws and the window crank (if you have manual windows) before popping the panels out.. start at the bottom and work up.. once all the pins are popped, you will have to slide the panel up and then out.  If you have any issues with this process, pick yourself up one of those Hayes manuals at your local autoparts store... they are vehicle specific and will give you much more detail about this process than I can here.
