Car Stereos: Installing a sub in a 04 malibu, rca cables, level converter

I see answers for installing speaker but all I want is a sub. I want to install it but I don't have any rca cables that come out of my cd player(or none that I know of) How can I install an amp with just a sub no speakers>

Two ways to do this Chris.
1. Buy an amplifier that has high level (speaker level) inputs. The same lines that run your rear speakers can be also connected to the amplifier for the input signal. Also remember to get an amplifier that has a built in crossover so your subs only see low frequencies.
2. Buy a line level converter from your local car audio shop. This will convert your speaker level outputs to RCA's. Do yourself a favor though with this one and buy a GOOD line level converter. The cheap one's sound like crap and will usually end up causing you noise problems.
