BMW Repair: air conditioner, climate control unit, blower motor

Question
I have a 1997 328IC and the air conditioner is making a churping sound and is getting louder. What could be causing this and what type of repair can I be expecting?

Answer
It is either the blower motor or the hvac control modeule. The climate control unit (in dash) has a fan in it that when dirty will make a squeaking noise, if the noise is only heard with the blower motor on than the noise is caused by the bearrings on the blower motor.
