Audi Repair: Check Engine, ABS+Brake Lights, RPM wont move at the same time the AC wont blow in cold air, import specialist, abs sensor

Question
I realize that my Check Engine light could be on for many various reasons.  Only a diagnostic test can tell me the problem.  I have recently have my front brake pads changed and now the ABS lights comes on and the Brake light flashes and beeps constantly. What needs to be done to make this stop.  Also I have noticed that my AC generated will not start when my RPM hand won't move.  But they do work when the RPM moves and the generator does start.  What causes them to stop and what should be done about it.

Answer
It sounds like perhaps the ABS sensor was not plugged in properly, also there should be a wear sensor for the pads that is connected in the same area.  I would check the connections at the wheels, also with reference to the AC compressor, there is an electrical problem which I have not seen before.  The RPM meter is attached to the coil, perhaps there is an interlock which stops the AC clutch from engaging if the engine RPM shows 0.  You have have to get this checked by an import specialist.  Let me know,  Jan
