Land Rover Repair: Engine semi-mildy sputtering with misfire, blown head gasket, inescapable conclusion

Question
QUESTION: 1999 LR Disco II 93k miles.

I have an error code 1590 (it says ABS/rough road fault) and a 0304 (it says misfire on cylinder 3).

I cannot possible see how this could be a blown head gasket. I had the most expensive head gasket job done at 80k miles with all new factory parts (the most expensive) new upper heads, new radiator and new thermostat new spark plugs (champions).

Could this be the wires or coils? I had the wires and coils replaced at 63k with factory parts.

I'm not sure what to do.

ANSWER: Your statements seem to rule out the common causes of misfire codes.  But do they really?  You could certainly have a failure of any of those parts, or you might have the wrong plugs, or even a tight valve.  Saying "I did those things" does not rule them out.  Only testing and proving them good can do that.  I'd give 9 of 10 odds the problem is one of those things

QUESTION: By one of those things you mean coils, wires, blown heads right? What is the cure for a tight valve, Sea-foam?

Answer
Yes, I mean one of those things.  If a valve is sticking, you need head work, not Sea Foam.  There's no way for me to know what piece(s) are failing on your car without seeing it. All I know is, you say (I have checked all the possibilities) and yet the car still has the problem.  So the inescapable conclusion is that something was missed in the testing, or you have some really rare problem.  My money would be on something missed in testing.

I wish there was some clue to point you, but there isn't.  At least, not from here.
