Motorcycle Repair: replacements, sportster 883, clutch lever

Question
how to replace the idle and throdle cables, clutch cable and break line on a 2003 sportster 883 hugger. the reason is that Im replacing the handle bar. Ive already bought the new idle and trodle cables the new clutch cable and the break line.

Answer
To replace the throttle and idle cable. Locate the adjuster in the cables. Shorten the cable with the adjuster. Remove the air filter and back plate and carb. remove the cables out of the carb. Remove the cover around the throttle and remove the cables and install the new ones.
To replace the clutch cable. Locate the adjuster and shorten the cable. Remove the clip and pin from the clutch lever. You will have to drain the primary and remove the cover from the primary. Looking inside the primary you will see the cable attached.
Brake line. Remove the brake line from the caliber and master cylinder and install new one. Once it is installed you will have to bleed brake line so you will need brake fluid also.
Good luck and happy riding
