Nissan Repair: signal lights shorting out, phillips screwdriver, hazard lights

I have a 95 maxima and when I apply my brakes my hazard signals display as if there part of the brakes. And now I have no signals nor hazards just this new brake thing.  Before this my dash would blink everytime I use the signals and hazard lights.

First replace the flasher and if that does not do the trick replace the blinker switch.  The turn signal indicator and the flashers and the brakes all run through this switch.  The good news is it is under $100 bucks and is easy to install with a phillips screwdriver.
