Nissan Repair: READINESS MONITORS, nissan sentra, emission repair

2001 NISSAN SENTRA 1.8 L WILL NOT SET MONITORS AFTER EMISSION REPAIR , WE HAVE DRIVEN IT PER DRIVE CYCLE AND CAN NOT GET THE OXYGEN SENSOR OR EVAP MONITOR TO RESET . WE HAV ALSO DRIVEN THIS VEHICLE SEVERAL MILES AT DIFFENENT SPEEDS & CONDITION TRYING TO FORCE THEM TO RESET , ANY HELP WOULD BE DEEPLY APPRECIATED

Disconnect the battery for five minutes and give that a try and then drive it two or three days to get the computer back on track.  If this fails to work then you are looking at disconnecting the harness from the computer to see if there are pins that are not making good contact.  Then you would reconnect the harness, reconnect the battery and see if the codes will go away.  Now, if this does not work then you will need to get someone with a advanced scan tool like the Consult II from your local Nissan dealer to read deeper into the codes.
